Well, to start with, we’re set in the middle of the magical New Forest, just a stone’s throw from the peaceful and picturesque village of Burley.
We’re also one of the few family-run care homes in the region (and have been in the same hands for almost two decades) as well as having an incredibly talented team of skilled staff who go above and beyond to make sure the care we provide is truly first class!
Inside Gorselands you’ll find a variety of cosy bedrooms, a welcoming lounge, a well-stocked library and a sunny conservatory. Home-cooked meals are provided daily and there’s no shortage of engaging activities arranged by our passionate and dedicated activities organisers. Residents can get involved in anything from arts and crafts, to music, baking, outings in our minibus or even spending time with visiting therapy horses.
Stepping outside you’ll discover our extensive landscaped garden, a peaceful and welcoming space, providing a number of tranquil spots for our residents to relax and socialise.
They won’t be short of company either, with plenty of friends to make (both with other residents and our caring staff), flexible visiting hours to see family and a pet-friendly ethos that allows four-legged friends to join their owners.
